NEW BRAND IDENTITY
Modu, an online audio platform, helps young creatives discover new tracks, mix their own music, and
share it with others. They’re a new tool suite with a retro vibe and a vision to empower more people
to create music.
Our approach centered on education and consistency. We built a brand system and marketing campaign
that demoed how Modu works - highlighting the full lifecycle of learning, finding, creating, and
sharing.
The identity and art direction are rooted in the creator personality, Modu’s values, and the core
movements of music creation: rotation, pulse, queue, swipe, distort, and modulate.
The resulting flex design system allows for quick-build content for social engagement and deeper
storytelling content on priority platforms. Modu can now scale efficiently as a sonic design tool.
